Josef – GFE

We are learning to create a business based on 3d printing. What my group had to do on this project was create a poster about our new business. Why we had to do this was because before we had already created our slide about our business and some of the suggestions were to create a advertisement so we can catch the attention of the people that would want to buy our products.  Our advertisement consists of acrostic poems and has different graphics of what our products helped with. The controller graphic was put in our advertisement because we are selling a controller stand and the headphone graphic is for our headphone stand.

We are learning to successfully start a business. On this slideshow we had to start a business but the products had to be 3d printed. Why I found this project more interesting and different from the other projects was that the products could be anything we wanted considering that we were 3d printing our products. It was very cool because we picked our products off by experience and also the products could make your life easier and tidier. We had to present today and we were very successful with it because we managed to advertise as well as telling them the advantages of our business.

Market Day

We are learning to create and sell a product of our own. For our market day my group was working on this project for at least 5-6 weeks and became successful with our market day. What we did first in the steps of our market day was trying to find a brand name so we chose the name Josef but the official name for our store was Weetshakes because we were selling Weetbix brownies and Milkshakes. We had good ideas at first but as the weeks passed the ideas kept getting more efficient. We ended sticking to one idea and kept adding towards that idea. On the day of the real market day we were already set up from the day before but I had to bring an extension cord and a blender for our milkshake making.  We had everything planned out I was in charge of making and selling the milkshakes the customers and Cairo and Tk were in charge of selling the brownies. While my group was selling we had turns to go look around and buy some of the other foods that were being sold. At the end of the day we ended up selling most of our product and made roughly $96 with the milkshakes and we are still working on the income from the brownies.

Market Day Progress

We are learning to understand how to run a business. For our business my friends and I have been working on what we will do for our product or service. We had picked to sell a product because my group has unique abilities to what we will be making. We all knew how to make our products because our products were easy to make and also we had all made our product before. We had planned out most of our business and kept evidence on our slides. We had everything planned out for the sampling and the real market day. After doing our samples with each class we were given feedback and after carefully listening we all took their advice. We had put the feedback into our slides for help on market day. For our ratings on our food our ratings were amazing because the lowest mark we got was 8 so we were very happy. We are still working on this slide but we will give updates soon.
