Dreadful War

We are learning to use our skills that we have learnt. What I was doing during this work, First I had to research a little just to get some inspiration so I could see pictures to show me what the war looked like. After having some inspiration I had started to use my skills that I Previously learnt from Matua Aina that skill was using lines to create a mountain type of art. I had used this skill because this skill would make this piece of art more interesting and it will give that war vibe. I added many silhouette soldiers and lots of different other silhouette figures so I can use them as the soldiers in the war.

Have you ever done 28th Battlion art?

Lives Of the 28th Maori Battalion

We are learning to understand the lives of the 28th Maori battalion, When we were working on this we had to research by using sites that were based on the 28th Maori Battalion, By using these sites they gave us more than the information we had to gather and these sites helped us very well. What we learnt from these works was the feelings of the soldiers and the impact of the soldiers and families. There are also videos in there that gave us the information. After learning about Sir Apirana Ngata we found out that one of my friend was families with him.

28th Battalion Site

We are learning to create a site. When I was working on this I felt like there was lots of responsibility considering that we would have to share not only our class but also the other senior school classes. We have made some progress so far doing the easy stuff and then moving onto putting the information onto the site. Also here are a few snippets of our site.

Have you ever made a site.
