We are learning to preserve our culture and identity. For this slideshow I had to express myself and show who I am by showing my culture, passion, hobbies and many other things that people should know about me. Why I liked this slideshow was because some people don’t know who I am by presenting and also creating this slideshow it shows people my true culture and identity. Why I also liked showing this presentation was the fact that barely anyone in my school knew the country Kiribati, also that I am the only Kiribati person in the school now that most of the Kiribati people have grew older or moved schools. This presentation also allowed to show other culture like Maori how it let me was because I had forgotten to write my Pepeha in Kiribati so then I was allowed to do it in Maori which is very cool because I am expressing other cultures. My next steps for this is that I need to introduce my Tuvaluan side more because even though I didn’t grow up on my Tuvaluan side I still need to learn a lot about it.
